  • Emily Moseley - President

    Emily Moseley is of counsel with Wood Jackson, PLLC and the Lippincott Law Firm, PLLC and focuses her practice on business, health care, and IP litigation and health care regulatory matters.  A graduate of Pomona College and Vanderbilt Law School, she maintains an active pro bono practice, serving as co-chair of the North Carolina Bar Association's Call 4All Task Force.  Emily lives in Chapel Hill with her husband, Bob-- an orthopedic oncologist at UNC-- their two children, and assorted pets.  Emily joined the Board in 2009.

  • Chris Woodfin - Vice President

    Chris Woodin serves as Chief Financial Officer at Topaz Shared Services, a start-up IT outsourcing company. Prior to joining Topaz, Chris served as Chief Risk Officer for Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina.  Chris' wife Terry has volunteered with the Light a Luminary Project here at the House for almost fifteen years, and Chris credits Terry with leading him to join the Board. Chris and Terry have two grown children and three grown Chihuahuas.  He joined the Board in 2010.

  • Zac Hedrick - Treasurer

    Zac Hedrick is a Senior Business Banking Relationship Manager for Wells Fargo Bank.  Zac graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 2002 and has worked, in various roles, with First Union/Wachovia/Wells Fargo ever since.  Zac lives in Hillsborough with his wife and young daughter.  He enjoys spending his free time with family and friends or playing golf and soccer.

  • Nan Caison

    Nan Caison and her husband Hugh live in Wilmington, North Carolina.  The Caisons are McDonald's Owner Operators and have two daughters.  Their oldest is a freshman at UNC-Chapel Hill.  The Caisons first became involved with the Chapel Hill House through their leadership on the Play for Emily Golf Tournament, an annual event that takes place in Landfall each September. Nan joined the Board in 2011.

  • Julie Curd

    Julie Curd is Principal, Director of Client Services at Smith Breeden Associates, Inc. Julie holds a BA in Economics from Sewanee--The University of the South and an MBA from Kenan-Flagler School of Business at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  Julie joined the Board in 2013.

  • Michael DeGennaro

    Mike Degennaro is a professional healthcare leader with over 23 progressive years experience in environments ranging from community hospitals to large academic integrated healthcare systems as well as professional consultative services. Mike has served as Director of Operations for Radiology Services at the UNC Health Care System.   Mike has been a Board member since 2008.

  • Drew Duncan

    Drew Duncan is the Director of Human Resources at Eisai, Inc., pharmaceutical company based in Tokyo. He has been with Eisai since 2005. He began his professional career at Eastman Kodak as a corporate recruiter.  Drew has a BA in Industrial Relations from UNC and a graduate degree in Organizational Change and Leadership from Pfeiffer University.   Drew is a Certified Professional of Human Resources with expertise in talent acquisition, leadership and professional development, employee relations, and compensation. 

  • Julie Emerson

    Julie Emerson is a Strategy Consultant for the UNC Health Care System.  She began her career at UNC Hospitals in 2004 and spent the majority of that time in the Department of Clinical Care Management.  She has a MHA from Seton Hall University and an undergraduate degree in Graphic Design from the College of Design at NC State University. She has served on the Board since 2011.

  • Dr. Stuart Gold

    Dr. Stuart Gold is Chief of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology in the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. A native of Atlanta, Ga., Gold earned his medical degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn. in 1981. He joined the UNC School of Medicine faculty in 1989.  Stuart is a long-time donor and former Board Member.  He served as Treasurer in 1996 and joined the Board again in 2009.

  • Sherry Hancuff

    Sherry Hancuff coordinates the community outreach program for Grifols, a global healthcare company with a major presence in the local community. She has developed strong partnerships with numerous local nonprofits through an active employee volunteer program which contributes thousands of dollars in corporate and employee donations. Sherry is a passionate supporter of the Ronald McDonald House, having stayed there 18 years ago when her daughter Kasey was being treated for hydrocephalus.  Prior to joining Grifols, Sherry served nine years in the Air Force and Army National Guard.

  • Toni-Ann Herwig

    Toni-Ann Herwig, an Associate Attorney with Young Moore and Henderson, P.A., works in non-profit law, estate planning, estate administration, and business planning.  Toni enjoys cooking meals for the Ronald McDonald House and volunteering at TABLE in Carrboro.Toni and her husband Chris live in Chapel Hill with their dog Henry and son Benjamin.  Toni joined the Board in 2010.

  • Alan Hughes

    Alan Hughes is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina.  He has more than 23 years of senior leadership experience in information technology, including serving at some of the nation's leading companies. Hughes has demonstrated success in linking his organizations' IT strategy to business success. He has a strong record of helping global organizations make the most of information to meet financial, competitive and regulatory needs. Alan has an MBA from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from SUNY. Alan joined the Board in 2013.

  • Evan Nave

    Evan Nave is Regional Marketing Manager for McDonald's in the Raleigh Region. Evan began his career with McDonald's in June 2007 when he worked as a Marketing/Communications Intern at McDonald's USA in Oakbrook, IL.  Evan graduated from Hampton University with a BA in Broadcast Journalism. Evan joined the Board in 2011.

  • Allyson Peck

    Allyson Peck is the Financial Officer for McDonald’s East Division where she leads the Division Finance team and oversees the financial discipline of the eight East Division regions, representing over 5,200 restaurants.  Prior to joining the McDonald’s Family, Allyson was an internal auditor for Sara Lee Corporation in Chicago, IL.  Allyson is a graduate of Bradley University in Peoria, IL and is a CPA.  Allyson, her husband, and two children reside in Raleigh, North Carolina.

    Steve Stimpson is a drug discovery biologist at GlaxoSmithKline in Research Triangle Park, where he has worked in musculoskeletal and metabolic disease for 22 years.  Steve is an active volunteer for Relay for Life.  He has been impressed with the work of Ronald McDonald House over the years, was deeply touched by the illnesses of children of close friends, and hopes to help with the goals of Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill.

  • Jeff Strickler

    Jeff Strickler is a Registered Nurse and Paramedic who serves as the Director of Emergency Services at UNC Hospitals.  He is also adjunct faculty in the Department of Emergency Medicine and the UNC School of Nursing.  He is also active on a state and national level with a number of professional nursing groups.  Jeff and his wife have two children and reside in Cary.  Jeff joined the Board in 2011.  

  • Brandon Watson

    Brandon Watson serves as Assistant Vice President and Financial Services Manager at the Chapel Hill location of First Citizens Bank. He is responsible for oversight of branch operations and sales as well as community banking initiatives.  He currently serves on the finance committee of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce and board of directors of the North Carolina Institute for Child Development Professionals. He has a B.A. in Economics from Duke University. Brandon lives in Durham with his wife and two children.

  • Kelli Willoughby

    Kelli Willoughby and her husband, Rex, have two children and live in Chapel Hill.  Kelli Willoughby received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from East Carolina University. Kelli has worked at PPR Foods -McDonald's since 2008. She joined the Board in 2011.
