Cook a meal
Helping in the kitchen is a popular way to become involved with The Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill. Cooking for the families can be especially rewarding as they often find themselves living on hospital food or from vending machines.
Groups can prepare dinner, brunch or make treats for the families at the House (the dinner menus must be pre-approved). Meal groups should consist of no more than 10 people, and all participants must be at least 13 years of age.
If for any reason you are unable to make your scheduled meal we ask that you call to cancel. If anyone in your group is not feeling well or is sick, we would appreciate it if you would have them stay home because many of our children have suppressed immune systems.
If your group is interested in preparing a meal for the families, contact Cathy Hall or fill out our online form.
