Internships

Interested in becoming an intern at the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill?  

Our intern program is a two semester program, beginning in the fall semester.  Interns work 6-10 hours per week with our Director of Marketing and Special Events in our development office. The focus of the internship is event planning and fundraising.   Interns gain valuable experience working on the following projects:

  • Assisting in the planning of our five major fundraising events ("Girls Just Wanna Have Fun," "Sport A Shirt, Share A Night," "Carolina Kids Classic," "A Tasteful Affair" and "Light a Luminary")
  • Writing Press Releases
  • Writing Newsletter Articles
