Ways to Contribute

Cash Donations

Your generous cash contributions are gratefully accepted and are tax deductible and will be acknowledged with a letter of receipt.  You can make a contribution by cash, check or credit card (Visa Mastercard, American Express or Discover).  Donations may also be made in honor or in memory of someone special and will be acknowledged with a card to the individual you specify on your donation form.   Click here to make a difference.

In-Kind Donations

In-kind donations of goods, services, gift cards and entertainment opportunities make a significant impact on the well-being of the families we serve.  These donations may be simple gifts of soap, toothpaste, new toys, household items and postage, or airline miles that enable a loved one to visit.  Donations of services such as printing and shipping, or tickets to a sporting or music event, bring comfort and peace of mind to our families.  In-kind gifts allow the House to focus our budget dollars on the most critical, day-to-day needs of the children and families undergoing treatment, such as transportation to and from the hospital and housing. Gifts of Stock

In addition to donating cash to RMH of Chapel Hill, individual donors may make gifts of publicly traded securities. The donor is not taxed on any gain in the property, and the donor may deduct the fair market value of the gifted securities against other income (subject to certain limitations).  For more information please contact Shelley Day or Rachel Knowles.

Donate Your Old Car, Boat, Truck or Motorcycle

Donate your used car through Action Donation Services and help the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill.  Click here and follow the instructions to have one of the agents from Action Donation Services contact you about your car, boat, truck or motorcycle.  They arrange to pick up your car, boat, truck or motorcycle and a donation is sent to the House.  It’s that simple!

Gifts of Life Insurance, Retirement Assets, Real Estate or Bequest
